This book is the first formal financial education I had received, I was 26 years old. It turned my view on wealth and money upside down. Apart from one of the most important lessons of having a rich mentality, it also taught me to always stand on the edge of a coin, so we can take a good look at both sides. It encouraged me to write, even though I failed English at school. It gave me the courage to challenge my parents’ way of thinking and took action towards achieving my own financial freedom.
If you’re a traveller like me, I’m guessing one of the biggest concerns for many is money. This book will set you in the right path and points you in the right direction to earn passive income while you travel.

I came to know about this book from a property seminar and thought it was interesting how getting up at the crazy hour of 4 am could have this much impact on someone’s life. Okay, it’s easier said than done. For many years, I have tried to get up before sunrise. Some days I’m up and feeling pumped about my day, some days I give in. Through the years, I have learned a perfect relationship doesn’t just happen, and it will never be perfect. Just like we have always believed in the fairy tales that we will live happily ever after. Yeah, that’s not true, at least not without some real commitment, sacrifices and learning. The understanding of the science of human psychology itself is a skill that needs to be acquired in order to have a happy life. Love needs to be constantly repaired and nourished for it to blossom, and this book effortlessly enlightened me on exactly how to achieve it in the simplest way. Although written for men, I think it benefits women just as much.
If you ask my partner, I have come a long way in the field of relationship. Today, we’re a happy family of 4, perfect in my own eyes, living the life of our dreams. Yes we still fight, and yes we still have conflicts, but each of us has our love bucket filled to the top, and I’m very grateful for what this book has taught me.
The 4 Hour Work Week
A new, expanded edition of this New York Times bestseller about reconstructing your life so that its not all about work Forget the old concept of retirement and the rest of the deferred-life plan – there is no need to wait and every reason not to, especially in unpredictable economic times. Whether your dream is escaping the rat race, experiencing high-end world travel, earning a monthly five-figure income with zero management, or just living more and working less, this book is the blueprint.
We’ve all heard of the saying ‘Work smart, Don’t work hard!’ But no one told us how?
This book has changed my belief about investing time to produce results. It has taught me one of the most powerful tools to achieve success – leverage. I was raised in a family who are proud of being hard workers, spending time going for that extra mile at work. All those years that I’ve spent on thinking I was doing the right thing by working hard, little did I know I was working hard in the wrong directions. I never knew leveraging and automation existed, until I read this book.
As you may have guessed, since then, I changed the course of my run and started working smart. Now my family calls me lazy, while I live on island time, scrolling through their social feeds on not being paid for overt-time. The 4 hour workweek is super easy to read, yet it has the power to change lives. If you also want to laze on a hammock and not worry about a dime like on the book cover, pick up this book for your next vacation!
