Hyde Park

Hyde Park, an oasis in the midst of Perth, is one of our favourite local parks to spend the day. The park’s centrepiece is its playground which consists of a water playground where kids can revel in aquatic fun and a large playground for kids of all ages.

Surrounded by mature trees and interspersed with two lakes, the park offers ample shaded areas, making it perfect for picnics or simply lounging on a sunny day.

We particularly enjoyed our leisurely strolls around the lakes, appreciating the natural beauty and the resting birds at Hyde Park.

Bibra Lake Reserve & Playground

Bibra Lake Reserve & Playground is a hidden gem for families and nature lovers. We stumbled upon this beautiful regional park on the way to Omeo Wreck and were pleasantly surprised by the scale of the playground. If we were to rank the best playgrounds in Perth, Bibra Lake Regional Playground surely deserves a spot in the top three.

The playground unfolds as a whimsical wonderland for the little ones. With innovative play equipment designed to spark imagination and promote physical activity, the kids are bound to have hours of outdoor fun. Pack a picnic rug, some snacks and lunch as you’ll likely spend quite some time here.

The reserve is like a breath of fresh air for anyone looking to connect with nature. The well-kept trails going through the native bushland are just perfect for joggers, walkers, and bird watchers.
