As a seafood lover myself, our family couldn’t be more excited to experience the new Fish Market first-hand!

Ambience
We took our 2-year-old toddler with us on a Saturday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised by the ambience of the outdoor courtyard. This little undercover seating area has a modern design, outdoor patio heaters, and a bar – The Wreck. It’s tempting to spend the whole afternoon here catching up with family and friends while snacking on your favourite seafood.
Seafood
More than 10 new retailers are now serving the freshest seafood you can find in Auckland! Backed by one of the biggest and oldest fishing companies in New Zealand – Sanford & Sons. The quality of food here is top-notch, and you can be rest assured to have only the freshest seafood! I was in my second trimester and felt very comfortable eating oysters and prawns here.
Our favourite shop has to be Billypot, you can purchase raw prawns and mussels, and have them steamed right there. You can also get your favourite fresh seafood from Sanford & Sons fishmonger next door, and bring them over to Billypot to steam!
If your taste buds feel like some Asian-fusion cuisine, the bold flavours at Tiki Thai will leave you yearning for more. Alternatively, fancy a wood-fired pizza at Super Pizza? Watch them make your pizza right in front of your eyes. Auckland Fish Market has a mixture of flavours to satisfy the taste buds of people from all around the world.
