What You'll Find Here
Recently, we’ve come across a little ramen shop called Ryo’s Noodles on Sydney north shore, where there’s always a queue lining out the door. Out of curiosity, we joined the queue to try out one of the best ramen places in Sydney. And sadly, I’ve been hooked ever since!
Ryo’s Noodles is conveniently located in Crows Nest on Sydney lower north shore. With winter fast approaching, there’s no better way to warm yourself up than having a bowl of satisfying hot ramen noodle soup at this cosy little Japanese restaurant.
Address: 125 Falcon St, Crows Nest NSW 2065, Australia (Google Map)
In this post, we review Ryo’s noodles and give you an insight into what this restaurant has to offer.

Staff at Ryo’s Noodles
The staff here are most efficient and friendly Japanese natives. Unlike many other Japanese restaurants, they all speak very fluent English and greet every guest with a welcoming smile!
Wait Time
We drive past here all the time and have noticed there’s always a line outside during the day and in the evenings. However, the wait time isn’t as long as the queue. Turnover is pretty quick, and usually, you can expect to be seated in 10 minutes or less. Except of course on a busy Saturday night, the wait could be up to 20 minutes, but hey, in my opinion, it’s totally worth it!

Seating
Ryo’s is a very small restaurant, there are limited table seats available, and not much room for prams if you’re bringing the little ones. They can only accommodate a few large groups at once, but bar tables are available if you don’t mind a bit of intimacy with others.
Facilities
There’s a tiny little TV hanging above in the corner, it looks more like a decorative touch than a TV to watch.
Free water is self-served just beside the counter. Sauces and ginger are also available for every table, free of charge.
There is a row of drink selections displayed at the bar, which makes it super easy to grab one without even thinking!
The ambience is warm and vibrant, and the decór is very authentic and simple.
You can find free off-street parking just around the corner.

Food
They’re known for their signature ramen noodles. They’re addictive, authentic and flavoursome. The menu is easy to read, try one of the best sellers, or pick any number from their board of recommendations, you can’t go wrong!
Price is affordable, and the quality of food is of great value compared to some of the other ramen places I’ve been to.
Best of all, their pork ramen is made of real pork! If you prefer a lighter soup base, tell the staff at the time of order.
Start with some side dishes like gyoza, and don’t be afraid to try other dishes on the menu, they’re just as tasty!
