This song really sums up my year and perfectly describes the kind of person I am at my core.
I’ve always been known as a jack of all trades with a big passion for life. My mind is always jumping to the next idea, the next hobby, the next adventure.
There’s still so much I want to learn and explore in this lifetime, but I often feel like there’s never enough time to do it all. (I need 3x lifetimes, please!)
That feeling has become a real struggle after stepping into the roles of mother and wife, where my days are now packed with all the invisible work that keeps a household moving.
There’s a part of me that feels caught up in chores and constantly tending to everyone else, and I often find myself longing for the days when I was busy… just being me.
So I wrote an upbeat, playful song to bring that side of me back to the surface.
I wanted something upbeat and playful, something that lifts the energy rather than sinks into the heaviness of responsibility.
It’s a reminder that even in the chaos, it’s okay to take a break from it all and chase the things that make YOU feel alive.
I hope anyone who listens feels understood, and can deeply relate — now, or one day — in their own beautifully imperfect way.
