Where To This Christmas? ♪ Qiara Shey

Snowflakes or sunshine? I’m saying yes to both.

LYRICS

Passport sitting by my bed
Should I pack my coat or hat?
Or throw in swimmers just in case
I end up somewhere warm instead
Frosted hills, ocean breeze
Or cozy nights by the fire, please

North or south, I don’t mind
I just want a good time

Where to this Christmas?
Oh-oh, where to go
Snowflakes or sunshine
I’m saying yes to both
Where to this Christmas?
I’ll choose when I fly
’Cause anywhere I land, I know
I’ll have a Christmas of my own

Icy mornings, sunny sand
Soft tunes from a roaming band
Hills to climb or rivers wide
Slow and easy or wild ride
Every road could feel just right
I just want a little Christmas delight

North or south, I don’t mind
I just want a good time

Where to this Christmas?
Oh-oh, here we go
Snowflakes or sunshine
I’m saying yes to both
Where to this Christmas?
I’ll choose when I fly
’Cause anywhere I land, I know
I’ll have a Christmas of my own

Where to this Christmas?
Oh-oh, where to go
Snowflakes or sunshine
I’m saying yes to both
Where to this Christmas?
I’ll choose when I fly
’Cause anywhere I land, I know
I’ll have a Christmas of my own

Wherever I wander, wherever I roam
Every place feels like home
Oh-oh, Christmas finds me
And I know I’m not alone

Every year around this time, I hit the same silly but very real struggle: I can’t decide where to spend Christmas!

Part of me dreams of a traditional white Christmas somewhere in northern Europe — twinkling lights, cosy cafés, and that storybook snow.

Then the thought of freezing my toes off kicks in, and I back out at the last minute.

Classic.

Then there’s the pull of Asia with its buzzing night markets, late-night eats, and streets lit up in every colour. It’s chaotic, magical, and full of life.

Some places have giant light displays, others have lantern festivals, and everywhere you go there’s this warm, lively energy that makes the whole season feel exciting and new.

And sometimes, the simplest choice is the one that feels right — staying in Australia or hopping over to New Zealand for a sunny Christmas.

Warm days, beach swims, and that laid-back summer feeling you can’t find anywhere else.

It’s always a bit of a dilemma, and that’s what inspired the song.

No matter where we end up — snow, sunshine, or anything in between, we always find a way to make it special.

Christmas feels good when you’re with the people you love.

I hope you find the Christmas that feels right for you, wherever you choose to be.
